a prayer from Psalm 100

O Lord, you never cease inviting us into your presence,

to come and worship with gladness,

to bring you songs because you love to hear us sing.

You made us and we are yours.

We are your people, the sheep of your pasture.

And so we come, 

we enter through the door you hold for us

with thankfulness and praise.

For you are good.

Your unfailing love continues forever.
