Redwood Park Church is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinabek Nation and the traditional territory of the Ojibwe of Fort William First Nation, signatory to the Robinson-Superior Treaty of 1850. It is on these lands that we live, work, and worship.

During the week leading up to Canada’s National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we have the opportunity to participate in this mission through participating in various events and learning opportunities throughout our city and country. Where to buy Orange Shirts
If you wear an orange shirt on the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, be sure that the proceeds from your purchase supports Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation initiatives, Indigenous business, an/or organizations. Here are a few places to look for Orange Shirts in Thunder Bay:
• Lakehead University Indigenous Initiatives (shirts designed by local artists Ryan Pooman and Christian Chapman, both from the Fort William First Nation).
• Orange Shirt Society - a list of official retailers across Canada (including Canadian Tire & Mark's).
