Welcome to Redwood!

We are a Jesus-centered, Spirit-empowered community of reconciliation.
We are also a church for the city.
How does this come together? Well, you can’t be one without the other.
We believe that God has a vision for our city: that the followers of Jesus would join God in his work to see all people reconciled to God, to themselves, to each other, and to the earth.  We know that this begins with a relationship with Jesus, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and God’s heart to see all people thriving and growing.  When this happens, Northwestern Ontario will be transformed; a pocket of Heaven on Earth.
Practically speaking, we are committed to:
  • Being a welcoming space on Sundays, where anyone from any place in their journey towards God can come and meet Jesus.
  • Providing opportunities for people to go deeper in faith and grow in community through various mid-week gatherings
  • Going wider in the world, using our resources to bless the city, region, and world in the name of Jesus.

SUNDAYS

In-Person | 9:30 & 11:30 AM
Livestream | 11:30 AM

Each week we gather together to experience and encounter the story of God's ongoing work in human history through singing, prayer, dynamic Biblical teaching, and other expressions of worship.  Come as you are, participate to the level you are comfortable, and join us with open and expectant hearts as we seek the face of God together.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We are a body of Christians who follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Our faith is in him. As part of The Alliance Canada, we believe that the Bible is the living and true Word of God. It is an account of God’s faithfulness and love for all of us, and the guide for the way we live our lives.

For those who are newcomers to our church, and possibly to the Christian faith, we realize this may be a lot to take in. The good news is that you don’t have to experience it alone. Whatever your level of understanding or faith, we want to walk with you through the greatest story of all time, and towards the gift of our living and loving God.
