Welcome to Redwood!

We are a Jesus-centered, Spirit-empowered community of reconciliation.

We are also a church for the city.

How does this come together? Well, you can’t be one without the other.

We believe that God has a vision for our city: that the followers of Jesus would join God in his work to see all people reconciled to God, to themselves, to each other, and to the earth. We know that this begins with a relationship with Jesus, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and God’s heart to see all people thriving and growing. When this happens, Northwestern Ontario will be transformed; a pocket of Heaven on Earth.

Practically speaking, we are committed to:

  • Being a welcoming space on Sundays, where anyone from any place in their journey towards God can come and meet Jesus.
  • Providing opportunities for people to go deeper in faith and grow in community through various mid-week gatherings
  • Going wider in the world, using our resources to bless the city, region, and world in the name of Jesus.

Join us in becoming people reconciled to God, ourselves, each other, and the earth.

Join us Sundays | 9:30AM & 11:30 AM

Onsite

We offer two Sunday gatherings at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Functionally, they are the same service just at different times, so come to whichever one works best for you.

Redwood Kids is for children 3 months – grade 5.  On your first Sunday we encourage you to arrive 15min before the start of the service.  Once you enter the kids wing of the building (to the right of the entrance), there will be a friendly volunteer located at the kids welcome desk who will help you register your kids, help families check into their rooms, and answer any questions you may have. After your kids are checked in, you can head to the auditorium and participate in the service.

If you have further questions email our Kids and Jr. High Pastor Katelyn at katelyn@redwoodpark.ca.

Some people wear jeans and t-shirts, some people wear collared shirts and dresses. It’s up to you; you are welcome to come exactly as you are!

Not at all! At Redwood there is no obligation for anyone, especially a first-time attender, to give.

For those who call Redwood “home”, giving tithes and offerings is a significant expression of our worship. Along with making everything we do possible, it is an act of faith and a statement of who it is we worship; our God is not a God of scarcity. If you would like to give please visit this page to see how you can partner with us.

The Alliance Canada

Statement of Faith

We are a body of Christians who follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Our faith is in him. As part of The Alliance Canada, we believe that the Bible is the living and true Word of God. It is an account of God’s faithfulness and love for all of us, and the guide for the way we live our lives.

For those who are newcomers to our church, and possibly to the Christian faith, we realize this may be a lot to take in. The good news is that you don’t have to experience it alone. Whatever your level of understanding or faith, we want to walk with you through the greatest story of all time, and towards the gift of our living and loving God.
