On Sunday, we prayed over Redwood’s Student Ministry Interns, Katelyn Condon & Emma Martin and their team of Redwood high school students who are in Mishkeegogamang First Nation for March Break to run programming for kids ages 5-11.

We are so proud of this team and love that they are representing Redwood & Thunder Bay by reaching out to our surrounding communities in a way that carries the vision of what we stand for as a church. We aim to follow the call of Jesus’ mission by reaching the broken, hurting and lost by sharing His love.

This is a unique opportunity for our students to experience God working in and through them to impact the community of kids and families in Mish. We want to be intentional about keeping them in prayer this week and that God will lead, guide, protect and anoint the work they are doing. We look forward to hearing about their experience when they return!

“Because we are His church and are called to join Him on His mission, we have a significant responsibility. Everyday is an opportunity to reach beyond ourselves to share the message of Jesus with others. We exist for the benefit of those whom Jesus has come to find and rescue, which means it’s not about us; it’s about them.” – Joel Enyart, Lead Pastor
