You’re welcome.

The Christmas season is officially here! We are excited for the buzz that Christmas brings around Redwood – Our Christmas Eve services are our biggest attended events of the year. I’m going to chat more about this on Sunday, but in the meantime, here’s what you need to know!

Tickets:

We ticket all of our Christmas services. They are free, but tickets are very important. Here’s why – Let me tell you a story…

In 2012, we had an explosion in attendance at the early service on the 24th. If you were there, you’ll remember – there was a lineup of hundreds of people down the kid’s wing hallway and all the way out the back door. Although it was exciting to have such an overwhelming turnout, it resulted in us having to turn away almost 100 people because we hit max capacity and had no more seats or standing room available.

It is an absolutely horrible feeling when a family comes to church on Christmas Eve and you have to turn them away because you have no room. It’s the ultimate Grinch move.

Since then, using tickets for Christmas Eve has saved the day. Tickets have helped us spread out crowds over multiple services and they have allowed us to track attendance much more closely, which helps us make key decisions each year.

A wasted ticket is a wasted opportunity that someone else could’ve had. Please only take tickets you can fill, and if you find yourself with an extra ticket please contact our office so we can make that seat available for someone else.

Tickets Will Be Released December 4

Tickets will be released on December 4th after church and you can get these on our website. If you need assistance you are welcome to come by the church Monday-Thursday between 8:30am-4:30pm and one of our staff would be more than happy to assist you.

Be Inviters

Our Christmas services are a perfect opportunity to invite friends and family out to church. Don’t miss this opportunity! We are celebrating the message and the hope of Jesus. That’s what this season is all about and this is for everyone. Be inviters and bring someone new to church this Christmas!

See you on Sunday 🙂
